Feed configuration

• Right now the feed is sorted chronologically. Maybe in the future it might be changed so it takes into account the amount of likes per post, most likely when there's more content included in the feed.
• The feed is not limited to English posts (though due to the hashtags used it veers mostly towards that). For people who want to see posts in one specific language, they can define it globally in BlueSky, in their own account's configuration.
• The feed keeps the most recent 100 posts and discards the older ones (this is a restriction of Blueskyfeedcreator free plan).
• Posts linking to illegal content won't be shown in the feed. Constant posting of this kind of content by the same user will conclude in blocking them from the feed.
• While self-promotion posts are totally OK in the feed, posting repeatedly the same promotion over and over won't be allowed in the feed as the feed target is mainly sharing more than doing marketing.

Posts inclusion in the feed

1. Posts with at least one of the hashtags or keywords in the list below will be included in the feed.
2. In a thread, only the main post (with the proper hashtag or keyword) will be included in the feed.
   No reply posts in the thread will be included, even if they have the right hashtag or keyword in their text.
3. Quote posts with the right hashtag or keyword in their text will also be included in the feed.
4. The feed is case insensitive ( a post with the text altcomics would be included in the feed, but also another post with the text AltComics )
5. The hashtags/keywords can be included in the actual post or if you dont want it to appear in your text, you can include it in the "alt-text" field when posting an image.
6. To avoid "spam" of content from same users, the feed will only include a limit of:
   • 2 posts per user within an hour and
   • 3 posts per user within 6 hours

And also to avoid spam the feed won't include:

• Posts with more than 10 hashtags (whatever they are).
• Posts with any image with an alt-text longer than 1500 characters.

Single keywords
Same as the hashtags list, but without the #

Paired, consecutive keywords
The two words have to appear together and in the defined order, they are:

Paired, non consecutive keywords Only the posts in which BOTH these keywords appear will be picked up by the feed. It doesn't matter if they are together in the text or not, and in which order they appear. They are:

• small press
  AND
  
• comic or comics

Hence if your text is for example:

It's a distro of small press

your post won't be picked up by the feed. But if the text is:

That comic store is selling small press

then the feed will include it.
