Welcome to #BlueSkyArtShow

Every Saturday we all post under the tag and on a theme. The weekly theme can be found on the pinned post of @blueskyartshow.bsky.social There's only a couple rules. We try to be as inclusive as possible and allow as much room for creativity as we can.

Date & Duration

We try to keep our posts just to Saturdays so we don't trample all over the other art challenges and events going on. If it's Saturday where you are on the globe then go ahead and post.

Theme

All posts for the weekend should be on the theme but with as broad an interpretation as possible. We want people to play along so we give you lots of room. The theme is posted every Monday so you have the week to get ready. Share the post around and invite your friends to play along

Number of Posts

While you don't have to keep it to just one post, we ask that you not spam the feed. Nobody is going to get upset if you're short on time and have to get a couple in kind of close to each other but if you're going to post a half dozen or more we just ask that you space it out a little.

Promotion

All you need to do to participate is include the #BlueSkyArtShow tag and additionally the theme tag of the week, whatever that may be. That helps people discovering the show to know what's going on and not post off topic.

For example: #BlueSkyArtShow all day Saturday, the theme is #this [Picture of Something]

Additionally some folks quote the promo card or save it and post it in a comment. There's a large and small version of it, just check the comments of the main promo post. The more we can do to let people know how it works the more the event is cohesive.
