This is a curated KidLit/YA Book Boosts Feed (NOT the same as the Book Bloggers/Reviewers List). This feed consists of kidlit & YA book recommendation posts tagged with the emoji combo 📚👍🏼 from users who agree to the guidelines. Other skin tones are also searched: 📚👍🏻, 📚👍, 📚👍🏼, 📚👍🏾, 📚👍🏿

I am going to be culling those who no longer post to the feed, or who keep using the 📚👍🏻 combo for posts other than authentic KidLit/YA Book Recommendations. Pls avoid using the emojis in casual comments. This has been pushing NON-book content to the feed, and it's taking me too much time to have to manually remove.

Note: It's 100% fine to be pointing to a book blog post, Youtube book video etc as long as you include book info in your post (e.g. title of book, credit/tag author / illustrator / publisher etc). Please DON'T just say "Check out my newest book recs." Alternative: include images the clearly show which books you are recommending (and PLEASE INCLUDE ALT-TEXT). Do not force people to click through to an external site in order to find out which books you are recommending; if you do this regularly, I will remove you from my Approved list.

All users in my Kidlit/YA Book Boosters 📚👍🏼 list have already been added. (click About for list of users). BlueskyFeedCreator looks through your most recent 50 posts for the emoji combo. Posts from those on this list automatically sync every 24 hours unless I sync manually.

To be added to the Approved List, please reply to the pinned post in this feed saying that you agree to the following terms:

• You agree to only use the 📚👍🏼 combo in posts recommending kidlit or YA books by others (not yourself).
• You agree to only use the 📚👍🏼 combo in posts recommending kidlit or YA books you have actually read and can personally recommend, and that are currently available for pre-ordering, ordering, or library borrowing. e.g. Please DON'T use the emoji combo if you're just posting a photo of books you're borrowing from the library...unless you've already read each of these books and can recommend them.

NOTE: It's fine to promote your own books on Bluesky! Just please do NOT use the 📚👍🏼 emoji combo when you do. If you see someone using the 📚👍🏽 emoji for promoting their own books, please let me know and I'll remove them from the Approved List.
