This feed searches my Lists approved Bluesky users for the following terms like #MSWL (Manuscript Wishlist), #artistsearch, #CallForSubmissions, #CallForArtists and similar terms. Some may be kidlit/YA but others may be for other types of writing. Goal of feed is to search out PAYING gigs only but non-paying may slip through filters so please do your research before submitting.

BEFORE SUBMITTING/QUERYING, please do your research. I lack the time to thoroughly check out every user who posts to this feed. DON'T query directly on Bluesky unless you are 100% sure it's ok. Read directions on how to query/submit. BEFORE you query/submit, do your research to make sure that the publication / agent / publisher etc is legitimate; scammers ARE posing as reputable literary agents and publishers. Search for potential scams and cautions on Victoria Strauss's Writer Beware blog.
To agents, editors, and art directors: DO thoroughly fill out your Bluesky profile, and have a link where people can find out more about you. Ideally, use your domain name as a handle on Bluesky; this helps verify that you are the person or company you're claiming to me.

Who is included in this feed?
I have already included those already on my Kidlit/YA Agents List, Kidlit/YA Editors List, and Kidlit/YA Art Directors & Book Designers List. BlueskyFeedCreator looks through your most recent 50 posts for the search terms. Posts from those on these lists automatically sync every 24 hours unless I sync manually.
I am happy to add anyone who regularly posts submission calls or calls for artists for PAYING gigs or legitimate grants. If you do not compensate creators upfront in cash (e.g. if your compensation consists of contributor copies, commission etc), please do not ask to be added to this list. If you find out that someone in this feed is regularly putting out calls for submissions for NON-PAYING gigs, please let me know and I'll remove them.

How to get added to the feed
Make sure your profile bio is fully filled out, with a link to your info.
If you pay cash (not just in contributor copies, commissions etc) to creators AND are open to submissions/queries at least 1-2 times a year, reply to my Pinned Post with a DIRECT LINK to your submission guidelines, where info includes info about compensation. I lack the time to hunt for this info.
If you are a kidlit or YA editor, agent, or art director who hires creators AND works with traditional publishing houses, reply to my Pinned Post with info about your role in the industry, and I'll also add you to the appropriate Bluesky List.
Caveat!
Again, PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH before sending queries or submissions. I am providing this feed in hopes that it helps some of you find work and clients, but I lack the time to thoroughly research every person and/or publication - THERE ARE SCAMMERS OUT THERE, so make sure the agent you're about to query is legit, etc.. Also, do NOT pitch editors, agents, and art directors directly on Bluesky unless you are 100% sure they are fine with it.
