Welcome to the Marine Mammalogy 🐋🦭 Feed

A feed dedicated to the study of marine mammals. To post to the feed, users must first be added to the contributor list. The feed displays AND replies from users on the contributor list that include one of the following: #MarMam, #MarineMammals, 🦭, 🐬, 🐋, 🐳, 🦦, 🐻‍❄️. Please note that posts in the Marine Mammalogy feed will no longer automatically display in the Marine Life and Mammals feeds without these feeds' designated emojis/hashtags as of now.

How to be added to the feed contributor list

Only posts from those on the contributor list will be shared to the feed. To be added to the contributor list, @ in a comment or DM @daryllmarie.bsky.social a brief description of your related work. Scientists, conservation orgs, naturalists, etc. welcome!

Once added, to post to the feed simply post to your profile as usual but include #MarMam, #MarineMammals, 🦭, 🐬, 🐋, 🐳, 🦦, or 🐻‍❄️.

If your name does NOT come up:

• Confirm you are entering your Bluesky username correctly.
• Try again in 1 hour. If you were only added to the contributor list recently, the list may not have synced with the feed yet.

If you still are not able to post to the feed, follow instructions in the section above to be added.
