Unwanted posts
You can hide or deny any individual post to remove it from your feed. This gives you fine-grained control over what appears in your feed, even after posts have been captured.
Hiding posts from your feed
Section titled “Hiding posts from your feed”When you want to remove a post that’s currently visible in your feed, you can hide it:
- For visible posts: Click “hide from feed” to remove the post from your feed while keeping it in your system
- For hidden posts: Click “show in feed” to restore a previously hidden post back to your feed
Hidden posts are not deleted - they’re simply marked as inactive and won’t appear in your Bluesky feed. You can always restore them later if you change your mind.
Denying posts requiring approval
Section titled “Denying posts requiring approval”When posts are flagged for approval, you have two options:
- Approve post: Click “approve post” to allow the post to appear in your feed immediately
- Deny post: Click “deny post” to reject the post and prevent it from appearing in your feed
Denied posts can be shown in the feed later if you change your mind.
Permanently deleting posts
Section titled “Permanently deleting posts”If you want to completely remove a post from your system:
- Click “delete post” on any hidden post
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
- The post will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered
Note: Once a post is permanently deleted, you cannot restore it. You would need to manually add it back to your feed if you change your mind.
Bulk actions
Section titled “Bulk actions”You can also manage multiple posts at once:
- Use bulk actions to hide, show, or delete multiple posts simultaneously
- This is especially useful when cleaning up your feed after making changes to your inclusion/exclusion terms
